i guess most of you have this now, but here's a few pics from production...
chimney laser cuts...
rolled and packed...
chimney base castings...

drilling chimney base ring mounting holes...
and scooping out the "saddle"...
and finally the base to smoke-box mounting holes...

large name rings on the lathe...
and drilling the mounting holes...
and the control model all put together...
Please note. at this point the model becomes very heavy and very unstable. as you can see we have fabricated a basic stand to keep it all upright. please be careful when handling things at this stage. things can twist in any number of ways and its easy to damage something or yourself. probably best to store the parts separate for now
