Third Steaming

Lit the fire for the third time today!

The regulator problem has now been fully resolved and a firmer and slightly longer spring in the starter valve, seems to have done the trick. The Clack leak when water pump working also fixed and dry. I took off the governor too as that was leaking and added some more packing. Cylinder drains still dribbling at low pressure but on the whole much better. I'll see how these go, going forward.
Only a few minor leaking and adjustments, which have been done already.
I got to 180 with the safety's lifting and all seemed well. The injector even made an effort to work too.

And its first road trip!



I have a completed bowser and seat, but need to sort the draw bolt and sort some foot rests, before i go further afield!
All in all a successful morning. Steam and hydraulic tests for the club next!

Well done and good progress.

Did I spy a leaky steam valve to the injector? Need that sorting as a hot injector will not pick up well at all.
Otherwise looking very good indeed.
