The Control model
Hi everyone
Seems as more and more of our roller customers are getting their engines in steam, we felt it was time to get the control model sent away to be stripped down and painted, and then we can finally steam her. This morning has been spent getting her prepared for her journey, and she is now on her way. In the midst of a quick break whilst waiting for more ratchet straps to arrive I managed to get a couple of parting shots for everyone, next time we see the roller it will be painted and in steam. When it is finished me and Dean will go down to see it and have a little drive each.
Thanks
Will@STW

Re: The Control model
Hi
It is cast iron and very heavy. I painted it for when it went to Dorset for the first time, to stop it rusting.

Re: The Control model
Hi guys
A little bit later than planned but here are a few pictures of the roller
We started off putting her in the showroom with a mistake, why pushed her in forwards when we really should have gone backwards, and as you can see there isn't much room for maneuvering, but never the less me and Dean managed to do a 50 point turn to get the front end facing the factory just like the 4 inch burrell next to it.
Here she is with her new stable mate, the 4 inch agricultural, and now that they are next to each other you can see better where they differ and where they are similar.
She certainly makes the Showmans look bigger in comparison
These are the pictures of her at Dave Tuckers home when me and Dean went to collect her, the better light really shows how much of a looker this engine really is.
Many thanks all
