A trip to STW Towers
HI all
I went to STW and was given some good advice from Dean it was stop making barralls and get on with your engine .Thanks good motvashon and incurigmunt
Well now the new wood for my shead is all painted one coat and will last the winter .But I must do another coat soon.
After my trip to STW it was tools down for the shead and on with the engine .so I have some pics for you to see.
First big prob was. As I am a messy painter I had to clean out all my wheals done on the piller drill.
Next thing I had was that the pins did not fit at all in the cogs .I do not know if any one had this prob.
But it now is all ok.
All fitted up and put on to the four wheals now well chufted.
Next bit was fun I am putting in the rivets in the arm lever just had to find a hammer that was big enough??
There is just one thing can any one please tell me if I have done the spring the wright way round .This is what I have under stoodand is it the right spring.Well that is it for now I do hope to do some mroe tomorow.

Hugh
You have got the spring on according to the instructions
I put it on the other side though, this allowed me to put the bolts through from the outside, which looks better, and the spring then locks onto the thread that protrudes and trapped by the washer and nut that I did not do up very tight and crushed the thread at the end to stop it unwinding.
But, if it works then I can't see it will make any difference
