Re: GOING TO DORSET ?
Unfortunately Bungle the answers a NO from me
It was a bit of a weigh up, do I plough on with me engine in the hope that next year I'll be there with MY OWN engine (something I'm pushing hard for, for next years rallies) or do I piss me dosh up the wall n go have lots of beers etc at many rallies. The engine has come first, something I think is going to happen quite often over the coming months. Ah well, one day eh
Regards

As for the new job,I'm loving it.Out in the mornings delivering mail, and overtime in the evenings.Of course the best part is the pay packet at the end of the week!

Re: GOING TO DORSET ?
VAPOR, I MIGHT GET EVERYWHERE, BUT I KNOW I'M NOT GOING TO BOTHER WITH YORKSHIRE !!!! LOL
LILYJACK, UNDERSTAND THAT MATE, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
JUST A THOUGHT, (NOT A 'WINGING' !!!) WOULDN'T IT BE NICE IF WE COULD GET A LARGE COLLECTION OF THE 2" ALL TOGETHER AT ONE RALLY NEXT YEAR ??? HOW ABOUT OLD WARDEN, ON THE A1, SO EASY TO GET TO FOR MOST (BUT NOT IF YOU COMING FROM YORKSHIRE !!!!), TOWARDS THE END OF THE SEASON, SO ANYBODY THAT IS ABIT BEHIND HAS A CHANCE (FINGER OUT LILYJACK, LOL), STW HAVE A STAND THERE, AND IT IS A BLOODY GOOD RALLY ????

Do ya know what Bungle, I've had the same kinda thoughts on that. A good get together/piss up. My finger will be out don't you worry about that sunshine, I've ramped up to kit 9 today (have to say the instructions are somewhat vague regards to the tenders construction and f*** me aren't those rivet bolts fiddley arsed sods to stick in ) but it's all gettin there so regards to your idea for next year, I'm most definitely up for that...

Re: GOING TO DORSET ?
Hi,
I've got a few idea's floating around about a get together next year already. Been thinking about having our own rally with BBQ, Beer, Band etc and inviting all owners to come along even offering little insentives (like a free burger!) to bring their engines along. As some of our builders are full size engine owners you never know we might even get some of the big boys there too.
I think we would quickly become the biggest minature rally in the country and it'd be a great opportunity for everyone to get together.
Still think your meet up sounds like a good idea also but watch this space.
Dean

STW Rally....
Dean,
brilliant idea.
your central too so most will be able to get to you easily..
would be a good opportunity for builders new and old to chat about there pride 'n' joys and for builders like me who have not completed yet to ask lots of questions.
With the added incentive of a burger and beer.
who could resist.

Re: GOING TO DORSET ?
Tony,
I'm sure i didn't mention free beer so don't go spreading malicious rumours......me & free don't go together as i'm not that sort of boy! ......Known my luck if free beer was included it turn from a few customers getting together to the Midlands version of Glanstonebury
It's gonna take some planning but if i can find a local friendly farmer who'd let us borrow their field (and maybe their tractor if we get stuck) i'm up for trying.

Going to Dorset
Well, living less than 20 miles from Tarrant Hinton I'd be barmy not to go! Will certainly pay a visit to Dean and the STW team and if Mr Bungle is going to be there I've got to meet him after all the posts and comments on the Forum. So who/what am I looking for and where?
Dean, your idea of a get together next year is a good one. As long as its not too early in the year I hope to have my engine running!
cheers,
Paul

Meet at Dorset
I'll be at Dorset on the Thursday night for the 'Wurzels' and Friday & Saturday for everything else. We could fix a time to meet at the STW site, say 12noon each day for any friends/customers old & new. Just an idea!
