It's a pity there is no database listing all the thread sizes for the DCC.

Can anyone recommend a tap and die set please that will cover all the boiler sizes so that I can run a tap through the various threaded holes. Most of the threads seem to be metric but I am not sure that they all are.

In particular can anyone tell me the thread size for the fusible plug. I've fitted the plug but am not sure it is seating in far enough.

Thanks
Martin

Hi

All the sizes are actually given on the packing lists for all the different studs, nuts and bolts in the kits.

The fusible plug is BSP threads.

Think off hand it is 3/8. I will look at my taps tomorrow.

If all the fittings etc to the boiler are BSP then a BSP tap and die set would be the way to go. Question

Pretty sure all the wash outs and plug are 3/8 BSP on my Agri, the cylinder block saddle I think are metric, so I dont think its a case of just BSP on the boiler, only the bigger stuff.
