Hi Tompettitt
The lining is a mixture of masking tape and using the beugler pin striping tool with one shot lettering enamel and has taking a little while to do i was working on the boiler sheets, cylinder cover and top gear guard last night started at 6:00pm and finally got to bed at 12.00 Shocked i will go take some pictures of them and put them up.
I start by doing the vermillion and yellow and then when that is dry i will mask over the vermillion and line the black.

Cheers

Couple of pictures of burrell in build Empty Lining out

Hi Tom,

I found the Beugler a real pain to use personally as it was very difficult to achaive smooth control so I opted for the Finesse pre cut ling tape that Julia metions on her web site. For me this made the job real easy as it can be applied accuratly and then painted over slowly. Once dry other widths and sizes can be added to finish the overall colour scheme. Heres a pic of the tender. If you want a Beugler lining tool I have one with 5 different heads and various spares including gaskets etc. Let me know.

Regards Kev

I feel I must write in defense of the Beugler pin striping tool. I have used one to do all my lining and I think it's absolutely superb. So easy to use and results infinitely better than the average person could achieve by hand. Not cheap but worth every penny in my opinion.
