clack valve gaskets

Hi, can anyone tell me if the gaskets for the clack valves to boiler are supplied by STW, if so which kit are they in.

Nothing supplied in the 4"DCC You have to make your own.

ant remember off the top of my head but i think it says to use the steam tight sealant stuff

Gasket paper or Heldite liquid gasket. Just make sure the surfaces are flat to each other and the thinnest of jointing compound/material will do the job very well. Even a sheet of paper will work as a gasket done properly.

I used FLEXOID Gasket Paper for mine and the water pump etc. Not sure how it will perform though as only time will tell.

My modelwoks 4" doesnt have the flattest of surfaces on many of its mating joints possibly because its a very very early one, anyhow I've found that Klinger Gasket Material I bought on E-bay works really well and since changing to this I have had zero issues, where as before I was always getting little annoying bubbly bits from places like the governor and safeties plates with anything else after a few steamings.
