Water Bowser
July was a bit light as regards work on kits, so I thought I would have a go at making a Water Bowser for my 4" agri.
These are photos of finished article.

Re: Water Bowser
Capacity is around 44 litres, much the same as the STW one.
I'm in two minds regarding the wheels at the moment though, on the lookout for slightly smaller ones.

Re: Water Bowser
Yes I tend to agree the wheels could do with being a tadge smaller.

Re: Water Bowser
I couldn't find any wheels off the shelf that were suitable, so had a go at making some myself.

Re: Water Bowser
They look great, and much better than the bigger wheels. I've the STW one myself, but think your tank looks a bit better with more rounded ends. Does the tank have baffled in it, I've never looked inside one?
Re: Water Bowser
Hi Rob,
Yes I'm quite pleased with the wheels.
The tank has no baffles, not sure how it will behave when half full, only time will tell !!!!!

Re: Water Bowser
I know a fabricator who rolled the rims for me, I drew a sketch of the spokes and a local water jet company cut them for me, I then welded the spokes to the rims. Found some thick scraper rubber, cut and glued the ends then isoflexed to the rims. Hubs are adapted from some indespension units. Hub caps are stainless steel cups from Tesco thermos flask.

Indeed, but if you do get a problem you could drop some baffle balls inside which would help solve it if you can find some small enough to drop through the hole.
