Hi, I have just started building my front wheels and was wondering what people have done with the nuts that are on the spoke rivets/ bolts. I see the nuts are semi rounded to look like rivets! Do they need the flats of the nut rounded once fitted or do they look ok as they are when painted?

I put all my nuts on the inside and painted. No one has ever commented and Crystal has won best in show.
