Re: just starting
Welcome to you both, and I hope you enjoy your build as much as we are. If you have any questions, or if any problems etc don't hesitate to post, most of the time I find someone on the forum has been there and had the same problem already and happy to offer assistance.
Don't forget to post regular build updates, it's always great to see what others have done and are doing
Kind regards
Rob

just starting as well
Hi mick, We are just starting as well on the four inch burrrell our front wheels arrived last week and have made a start all going well at the moment it may be good to keep in touch as we proceed, All though we will fall behind a little as we are off to Portugal for two month for christmas and new year. The only worry i have is the painting and lining if there is anyone with any advice it would be most welcome, all the best with your build, Julian & Sue Cheshire

Re: just starting
Hi and welcome to the forum,
I am building a 4" road loco and can confirm the painting and lining was and is the challenge for me, even though I am going for a very simple single line scheme. It is still taking a lot of preparation and finishing on the background coats of paint. But I have seen some wonderful finishes on the forum and in the flesh so know that it can be done .
Enjoy your build
Ian
