burner question
Having successfully built a 2" Burrell i am now considering buying a Lykamobile kit.
I was wondering if anyone has converted the burner to run on old chip shop oil?
Also are the Cylinder drains added by some to stop hydro lock going to be standard in the new batch of cars?
Thanks Jon

Here in the USA a few of us have switch the burner to a Wayne burner. Its a 12 volt type that's used on portable steam equipment. It burns all types of fuel oils, from kero to home heating oil. I've been using it for the last 2 years.
No adjustment is needed when changing fuel types. The one advantage to the changeover is you can eliminate a lot of other items that is needed to run the 220 volt burner. This makes the car more reliable.
