Checking my Likamobile I discovered I could lift the burner up and down. On closer inspection I found the weld holding the burner support tube to the boiler casing had broken for about three inches along the top.

I am now constructing a bracket to hold the burner mounting ring back to the boiler and support the weight from the cross member above.

A stitch in time before the burner landed on the road!
