Hi Hugh,

Did you seal the inside of your tender or just leave it as the bare metal ??.

Hi Hugh,

I have given the inside of my tender 3 coats of isoflex plus an extra coat over the fixings to try and ensure that i have protected all of it. I also used the isoflex primer to get good adhesion of the first coat. I guess time will tell.

Rust in the end Empty Rust in tenders

Hugh,

May seem like a silly question, but are you emptying your tender after every steaming ???,

I was debating if it might be better to leave the tender full of water (as long as you have added the water treatment )

Any one else any thoughts on the matter..

Hi Malcom

Humm humm yes but not all of it .As for water treatment I have been told not to use it as we have copper boilers . I use rain water it has been through a lot of filters as well
