Is there anybody there
Just looking and see that all the Foden builders have either died or have fallen into a deep sleep, apart from Atomenter and me is anybody else building their Foden, if so how are you getting on?????

Foden Builders
Hi All
According to a note that I saw there has been a total of 15 SWB's and Artics sold so there are at least 13 builders who are presumably making good progress with no problems of any kind.
All the best
By the way you can buy special lamps to combat SAD - big sellers in the north of Norway!!

Re: Is there anybody there
Not much happening on my showmans build as I'm awaiting the paint to be delivered. Gone for a non standard blue, which will match the colour of ex-mayor. The Water Cart has been stripped down and the baffles treated, and nuts welded. Just finished putting it back together and will treat the inside of the tank tomorrow. The frame is painted and hung in the workshop to dry.

Hi Mike

Re: Is there anybody there
Hi Brian
Sorry I missed you at Dorset, spoke to your good lady though. Wicked people down here keep finding me work to do which rather gets in the way of the kit building. Chassis is nearly complete, just needs the rear springs. Painting experiments are underway using the sides of the water tank for practice. Black gloss with a thin yellow line, looks very good when I get it right.
At present I have one staircase half finished in the yard and another has been requested. Also two lots of model railway baseboards and a showcase for the club, I thought about moving house but they would only find me again.

Likewise, I was otherwise engaged in providing gentle rides on the fairground
I did see an unusual version of the Foden wagon at Old Warden (or rather a photo of it on my daughters's camera when I got home ), a fire engine!
Did anyone else see it or indeed is it one of the forum members?
