Hello everyone building a Likamobile.

I have purchased all kits but the wheel kits (4a and 4b) have not been delivered. I hope that Steve and Dean can resurrect the road vehicle business from the administrators but I still need details of wheels, hubs, drive adaptors and brake discs so that I can make them if I have to. Thanks to Tom Carder from Barnstaple for the offer of help to date. My Lika has completed steam tests and now has a full boiler certificate. If I can help anyone up to this stage then please feel free to call me on 01761 434208

Hello Eric,
I am in the same wheeless state as yourself, and perhaps others, and was toying with the idea of making hubs to suit scrap-yard aquired wheels myself. Steve Baldock (Modelworks dec. ) says not to panic, wheels will turn up, but he can't say when.
I wonder how many of us there are in this state ? It must be beneficial to all that we pool our resources.

Hello fellow wheeless Likamobile owners,

I also need a wheel kit and hope that Steve and Dean will be able to supply them. I wish them the best of luck with their business venture. If by the 15th July I don't receive any positive info. from Steve and Dean I will be making my own Hubs and wheels. I would be very grateful for any information on the wheels such as:

1. Wheel diameter.
2. Rim width.
3. Tyre size.
4. Brake disc size.
5. Size and type of bearings.
6. Spoke diameter (thickness).
7. Drawing or hand sketch of the hubs?

Regards,

Charles Whitworth
