4" arg keep priming
hi been out fist time 4" agr
keep getting a lot off priming help
is there any think i can add to water to stop this

Best thing is just keep washing it out, if its a brand new boiler then it will take a few steamings and washing outs for it to clear.
Just keep boiling it up and then draining down (once the fires out and pressures down of course)

4 inch priming
Try keeping the water level between 1/4 and 1/2 gauge.

How much boiler treatment are you using, if you put too much in it will cause the engine to prime.

2rd steaming so kept water level down raised steam 1 3/4 2 hours done 3 miles straight off only stopping to refill oil and cold water stop for dinner then done the same got some steep hill round me i had no issues with priming keep it in steam at 100 to 115 only had safety go off 3 or 4 times it pull and run so well
so thanks for the help yes i had to much water in and may be to much treatment in

On a new boiler I was told to steam it for a couple of months, regularity washing out with clean water to get a layer of rust inside the boiler as then when treatment is added it's got something to cling to. Sounded plausible so that's what I have always done. My 15 year old Aggi is still clean inside with very little rust as every couple of years I put the camera inside to have a look. I also never put water in the boiler I wouldn't drink!! we have quite soft water in Cornwall.
