New Premises for STW
Hi All,
After 12 months intensive searching we have finally found a new premises and verbally come to an agreement with a new landlord.
This building is perfectly suited to our needs, at around 5000 square feet. Not only will it allow us to reduce our overheads and set the building up how we want it, it will also improve our internal efficiency and importantly to the rest of the staff, Steve and I, it will make us feel like it is ours.
The building is still situated in Daventry and is only about 500 yards from our current premises. As it was previously run by an engineering company it also has the advantage of having all the power supplies in place. Although quite an old building, it is a very good state of repair, looks very presentable, both in the offices and on the work shop. We therefore look forward to welcoming old and NEW customers once we are settled.
Should any of our current customers have nothing better to do during October we would greatly appreciate any help that anyone is able to provide. We can't promise pots of gold but some of Isabel's finest coffee, our hospitality and as many local real ales you can manage will make it memorable experience.
We intend to make it as painless as possible on the production schedule and are already manufacturing parts in advance where ever we can.
All the best
Dean, Steve & All the Staff

Re: New Premises for STW
Hi Nigel,
That would be a dream, exactly what we are after.
To move the machines should only take a day though as we're only taking 3 Mills, 2 lathes and the gear cutter as large plant. The new machine should already be in place by then and the rest we could fit in the 2 x 7.25 tonne lorries we have.
Thanks a bunch
Dean

Re: New Premises for STW
well some of you may be wondering what's happening with the Move situation !!!!!!
to cut a long story short... it was decided to pass up on the building we had intended on using as the opportunity to "buy" another building that was more suitable to our requirements.
the term "too good to be true" springs to mind, as the building was withdrawn from sale after STW had put an offer in
and so the search continues
