Hoping for new production batch

Does anyone have knowledge concerning when a new batch of Lykamobiles are to be produced? What is the batch size needed to make this more likely to happen? Are there others out there that want to become Lykamobile owners and build their own? I have requested to be put on the list, are there others out there waiting patiently? Just curious to see how many of us are waiting.

It would be nice if when production were to start up again, STM would include some of the changes made by owners to improve the car. There is a lot of knowledge and experience that owners have.

Hello Everybody,

Just received an email from Dean that the Lykamobile may go back into production in July or earlier with committed buyers. I've already committed. Dean needs 10 committed buyers with holding deposits paid to get this production booked. If you have been waiting like I have, now is the time to commit. Only 30 kits are planned and the first 10 kits receive a special incentive price.

Now would be the time for a 4 passenger lika.

4 seat Lyka, that would really whet my appetite.

It wouldn't take much of a change to make it. This is what I did after an accident   totaled my lika.  Since I had to make a new chassis it was decided to make it 20" longer. The body frame was also increased by 20". Its just about done and will be finished this spring. Its winter here in New Jersey.  I will post photos when done. The  4 seater makes  the car more usable.

To be honest we haven't considered the 4 seater but if the change is as straight forward as Jim says then i suppose i could speak to Steve about making both options available (i can feel his heart attack coming on already!). There will obviously be a price increase with the 4 seater version though.

Received three deposits from yesterdays emails and two other confirmations at the end of last week so up to five already.

If you know any one who might be interested or are part of a forum of a club with possible members who could be interested in a Lykamobile then please let them know as the sooner we get to ten firm orders the sooner we start.
