2" Wagon
Steve/Dean
I see on the main website that you plan to produce kits for a 2" wagon
Is this still on the cards and will it follow once the 2" Burrell is complete or have I got to go and build one to my own design?
Obviously, if the 2" wagon was not commenced till after the burrell then we would not be able to ride it around for this season as the 2" is not due to finish till about August or September.

Re: 2" Wagon
WHEN STW STARTED, FROM THE ASHES OF MW. THOSE OF US WHO HAD LOST MONEY, AND HAD TO SUFFER THE PRICE INCREASE WITH STW (GUYS THIS IS NOT A POP). WERE PROMISED THAT WHEN WE GOT TO THE WAGON STAGE, STW WOULD LOOK AT A VOUCHER TYPE DEAL OF AROUND £250, TOWARDS THE COST OF THE WAGON AS A 'THANK YOU' FOR STICKING WITH STW.
DOES THAT STILL HOLD TRUE ??

Re: 2" Wagon
Hi All,
The 2" Wagon is still planned for release once the 2" Burrell has been finished. The design is under way and as soon as it has been completed we will add it to the website and the forum plus send out a mailshot. We do realise that it needs to be completed soon, otherwise customers will start to do their own thing and sales opportunities will be lost.
It is to be based on the current 4" wagon we sell but strengthened enough to make it ride on and just like the 4" version there will be facilty to tow more than one!
The discount previously offered of course will apply, however i will need to add it on to the list price first to then take it off again!!
Regards
Dean

Re: 2" Wagon
Hi Dean,
do you have any update on the progress with the 2" waggon? would be nice to know a price if you have sorted that out? I am still very interested in a 4" DCC model (with 14 spoke front wheel ) once my 2" and waggon is finished!
thanks Jon

Re: 2" Wagon
Hi All,
Please find below a picture of the 2" wagon. Wagon includes seat and foot rests.
Further info:
Seat is also a water tank.
Position of seat is adjustable to suit.
Foot rests are adjustable to suit.
Room for additional coal, tools and oil.
Additional wagons can be added.
Load is taken through the draw bar and not the chassis.
Water tank holds approx 10 litres.
Front Wheel Diameter 190mm.
Rear Wheel Diameter 214mm.
Internal Load Space 365mm x 747mm
Price as follows. Deposit £295.00, 3 Kits each at £295.00. Total price inclusive of VAT at current rate and delivery £1180.00.
Initially an agreement was made, that any MW's customers who continued with STW would be credited with £250.00 off a wagon. This was due to us restructuring the kits at the time we took over. This reduction will be applicable meaning a deposit of only £45.00 would be required from those individuals.
Should anyone want more than one wagon, so two people can be towed, then the second wagon is available deposit free saving £295.00.
Letters will be going out to current customers shortly.
All the best
Dean & Steve.
