2014 D.S.V.C. Steam and vintage rally Crathes, Banchory
Hi all
Crystal been out again and was gracious to take me along as well.
Live cargo. Atomentor's relation I think
Others
And finally a night time shot. Well almost. Generating before heading to the beer tent.
Once I got to the bear tent. Belted up and ran for 10 minutes. Then a odd sound. Quick shutdown. Humm. The shaft in the dynamo has snapped!
Sunday ready to enter the ring.
I hope some one sends me pictures as Crystal managed a full pull at the tractor pulling event.
Oh.
Friday evenings activity. Little bit of driving a steam locomotive.

Excellent pictures Lynn, looks like you had a lot of fun. Nice range of miniature engines there this year, I'm sorry I missed it... (working on big job at the village hall here!!)
Sad news re the generator shaft, is that the modified shaft from STW?
Regards,
Tony

Tractor Pulling!!
Managed to find a picture of the Foden in the miniature tractor pulling event. The sled has a 600kg weight that is moved forward by the driver on the back increasing the load dramatically the further you progress. I managed about 50 yards or so whereas Lynn with her showman's managed a "Full Pull" (no pictures unfortunately).

Mini tractor pulling
Hi John
It was great fun and something different for the spectators. I could have done with more steam, I was down to about 90psi when I started the pull. It is alright for the tractor boys - full throttle and away they go!!
