Re: 6"Foden progress
Dave,
I'll see what i can do about uploading some pics tomorrow. Been all hands on deck making the parts so none of us have had chance to do our David Bailey bit.
All the machines are currently working on 6" and 4.5" Foden parts with the 6" Foden Rear Axle kit hopefully going out next week.

Kits update
Dean
Thanks for the update on our next kit. Part of me can't wait for the next kit to arrive and the other half of me realises that I will be unable to do anthing with it as I have only just come out of hospital having had an operation on my right shoulder. Two good things though, the operation went OK and I will soon have the instructions for the next kit to read. As always I am looking forward to reading other builders reports and seeing their photos.

Re: 6"Foden progress
Please find below some photo's of the progress on the next 6" Foden kit (rear axle and diff). Don't think the pictures do the size of the parts any justice....this kit has some BIG bits.....the rear axle only just fitted in our longest lathe.
Sorry about the poor quality, it was late this evening and dark and as i didn't have my camera on me i had to use my phone which has no flash.

Re: 6"Foden progress
I was in the factory last week and Dean is correct the photos don’t do the parts justice they are truly impressive as is the model itself, well done STW.
I can’t wait to see one of these 6" Foden's with its boiler and smoke box fitted, I did get a chance to lift a cylinder block and that is quite a lump (make a good boat anchor).
