Turning circle

Has anyone worked out what the turning circle of the SWB is yet?

Never measured it but I am out with it at a show today so if I get a chance I will check it out. It has not been a problem so far as I can turn round without reversing in the car park at the end of our road (probably about 21/2 car lengths.

Sorry never got a chance to measure the turning circle but I can reaffirm that it is very maneuvarable.

Have you made an extension to the steering wheel - makes a heck of a difference when pushing the wagon about? I saw one at the STW open day and made one similar and it makes steering a lot easier. I take it off for driving under steam. I have pics if you need them.

I did a rough check on the turning circle at the last event that I was at and it works out to be about 8 paces (metres?).

Thanks Tom I am trying to work out the optimum pivot point for the artic trailer. Too far forward and the trailer hits the cab, too far back and the driver gets cut in half.
