Front belly tank bracket Empty Front belly tank bracket

Post  Kevster Tue 29 Nov 2011, 8:43 pm

Hi everyone,

Got my belly tank kit ,got the modified tank to hornplate brackets too.
Do I need a modified front bracket or is the front bracket part number BS41713 the correct one and all I need?
Is it the boiler bracket that bolts to the front bracket the bracket that is modified ?

Thanks

Kev

Hi Kev

You should get 2 off angle irons for the rear. These having 2 rows for bolts, one row being dummy and not sure when a front boiler to belly tank "U" bracket with 2 slots at the boiler interface instead of a pair of normal drilled holes on each leg.

Thanks Lynn,

I have the modified tank to hornplate brackets just wondered if the front bracket had been modified too.
