Damm you, your video has turned my brain to spaghetti now!!! I went away and have had to come back and look at it three or four times to get over it!!!! I'm going to have to put all other things on hold now, including eating and sleeping to see if I can get to that, seeing it turn over will just be the the ultimate.... I hadnt got around to sorting out things cause I didnt think it would work without a flywheel. Need to make up lots of blanking plates and plugs now..... Aghhhhhhhh Whats the thread on the lubricator input?

Hopefully it will have proved once and for all if anyone doubted STWs ability to make a complete engine that this is not the case and they will be out there this year cheers cheers for the RL guys only three kits to go in total.

Has a steam up today as the engine is now finished apart from the roof. I need to shim one of the guide bars as you can hear banging away in the video.

Nice one Chop, just a little adjustment and it will sound great. I had Blackbeard turning over yesterday for the first time and how proud that made me feel, I now have to fathom out how to post a video. Still had steam leaking through to the blastpipe on mine so I think I have worked out what it is but need to speak to Kev to verify the synptoms as I think he had a similar problem initially - the starting valve.
