MW's 7.25" Gauge Locomotives - Excellent News

Hi All

We are pleased to announce that the sale of the 7.25" gauge locomotive business has now been finalised. The purchaser of the business is Wilkev Engineering in Coventry and the owner/contact is Mr Kevin Brown. Although the business is primarily a manufacturer for the aircraft industry, Kevin has a substantial knowledge of locomotives having scratch built and run many 5" and 7.25" gauge loco's. As well as constructing a Winson 14xx 7.25" and Brit 7.25" (making lots of improvements along the way), Kevin was also near completion of the MW's A4 7.25" and has a vested interest in completing the engines as much as the other customers.

Kevin plans to write to customers within the next two weeks giving them the option of him manufacturing the outstanding items to complete their A3's and A4's. Should you not receive any communication within the next fortnight Kevin has a direct line that he can be reached on which is 02476 252303.

Steve and I would like to thank Kevin for taking on the business and wish him every success in completing the outstanding designs and who knows in the future, starting and completing new 7.25" locomotive designs. We wish all the MW's 7.25" locomotive customers 'all the best' in completing their projects and look forward to the day we see the finished engines steaming round a track near us.
