How long will it go for??

Hi all

A one of the guys at work asked me to day how long it my engine run for .Now yes if you go faster it will use up more
1 But under a good run how long
2 on a nice slow tick over how long

If you do know or just a good gess can you tell me please.

I'd say about 2 mins on regular coal or 32 days,7hrs and 12 minutes on Supermans Special Kryptonite Nuggets.

Okay, kidding aside now, I was chatting to a 2" owner in our club at one of the rallies last year and enquired on the same thing mate, He reckons on tickover with it full on water, you can happily leave it for an hour whilst you replenish your fluids in a beer tent, personally I'm not too keen on that one butttttttttt I guess it'll run as good as your set-up, damper near closed so the fires low n keeps and eyes on the water, it's gonna last a fair ole while before you start having to burn ya club hands on the fire-doors..

As for just leveing it well I have been tole not to

Could get between 5-7 hours on my grandads 3" Fowler showmans

And could easily generate over mains electricity for 3-5 hours - Great fun
