missing valve Empty missing valve

Hello fellow builders, received kit 21 and have been test assembling various bits.
On the instructions it states, "fit 3/16 globe valve to top of steam head", there is no 3/16 globe valve in the box and it is not shown on the packing list, does anyone know if the valve should be there or does it come in another kit?
Also do STW supply the pipe to extend the left hand second shaft oiler above the water pump?
Many thanks
Barry

Hi Barry, the 3/16" steam valve comes in a later kit as does the 2nd shaft oil pipe.

Thanks Tim, can the steam head be fitted and the valve fitted at a later date?

Hi Barry. I wanted to fit steam head and to make it easier I used the blower valve for that as its the same type of valve and when the other one comes I will use it for the blower if you no what I mean ! Because if you fit steam head without valve then when you do try and fit it you will have to dismantle the valve as there is not enough clearance to turn it as it will hit the spec plate.

Cheers Tim

The Left hand 2nd shaft oil pipe is a bit of a pig to fit. Be careful when you go to fit it that it doesn't get hung up on the water pump ram or will likely get caught between it and the bolts and shear it in half when you turn it over, cutting it in half.
