2" Burrell Kit 4
Bonjour, Hello and how's you all doing. Apologies for not being on much and/or reading/leaving messages. As some may remember, It's been a mad 2 or 3 months of exam after exam (all of which seem to have been well worth the effort), anyways thats enough twoddle. I wish to collect KIT 4 and possibly 5 as long as work haven't cocked up any overtime owed.. If it's okay I will collect on Friday afternoon of this week (the 26th June) I believe?
I STILL haven't gotten around to lining my front wheels as I'm dreading making a proper cack-arsed job of it so any suggestions from you guys n gals would be SERIOUSLY appreciated...
Anyhoodles thats me for now, beer calls after a hard days exams so will be too pi**ed to reply to owt this evening. I trust everyone is well and Bungle, your hands pretty much mended now and can "shake-ya-mate" at full pelt once again
Take it easy
Best regards
LilyJack

Re: 2" Burrell Kit 4
Hi Lilyjack
I done my lining on the wheels by building paint up in layers.Firstly I painted my wheels with white primer, then I painted the spokes yellow on both sides. Then it got fiddley for me because I put a strip of masking tape up the middle of each spoke,3mm for the fronts and 4mm for the rears.Once happy with this,I then sprayed red onto the spokes, and then went through the whole process again with masking tape, this time 5mm strip of tape for the fronts and 6mm on the rears.I then painted the whole wheel brown, followed by a clear coat to try to protect the lining.I personaly haven't bother with turning the red lines out as this proved far to fiddley for me.
Hope this helps.
Bungle glad to SEE (or not!) normal service has been resumed

Re: 2" Burrell Kit 4
Definitely going down the road of masking tape, going to do a wide run of yellow and then once thats dried, go down the centre with a single black line. No bloody way am I doing it free hand, you've got to be sober to paint free-hand. Cheers for the advice there lads
Best regards
