Rear cylinder plate gasket
Hi fellow builders.
I have a question.
I fitted the rear plate to the cylinder to align the hornplates, when I took the plate off I noticed that the gasket was only being sandwiched between the plate and cylinder face by a small amount is this correct?
A couple of photos to help explain.

Re: Rear cylinder plate gasket
Hi Barry, The rear cyl cover is incorrect, there should be no raised lip, you will have to remove the lip or send back to stw hq for re-working or replacement, you will have to wait for this before checking the alignment of the hornplates

Thanks Mick,
I didn't look right to me.
I'll give HQ a ring on Monday.

Re: Rear cylinder plate gasket
Spoke to Steve this morning, he explained the cover I have is modded due an issue with some of the liners.
He is sending me the right one, so on with the build when it arrives.
