leather fenders
Started the build on leather fenders for the car, I used 3/8" round bar stock. The fenders were made in four sections the ends were bent with a bender to form the ends of the fender, the sides of the fenders were made using a slip roller to form smooth curves. All the parts were cut so all four fenders would be the same. The parts were clamped and welded, the welds were ground smooth and fender bracket hangers were welded to the inside of the bar stock. Brackets were also made for the car side. The fenders will be covered with Patten leather, and look the same as the front dash. I will post photos

fenders
After looking at quite a few of cars from that era I decided leather fenders are just what our cars needed. I will post photos when mounted on car. The 20" (50cm) stretch lika is done, just have to paint the body panels
