Just a quick note to introduce myself I am a self employed Plater/welder from the (Black Country) The west midlands I have spent all my working life around Boilers and pressure vessels of all sizes Always had a interest in steam engines since I got a mamod steam roller for Christmas 50 years ago (I've still got it) Well I have paid up for the DCC and looking forward to getting the first kit this month

Welcome Carl.
Congratulations on signing up for one of these wonderful kits. Hope you have as good an experience building your engine as I did.

new build
Got my first kit on Tuesday (Front Wheels) I was a bit surprised how good the quality of the machining is. I started work on the wheels in the spare bedroom (no room in the garage and it's cold ) Wife put on the back burner for while now. This is going to cost me big time
