Riverside Steam Rally - 20th & 21st April

Blackbeard has decided to go to his first steam rally as it is my Birthday today. Cleading is on, cylinder covers, one motion cover and the roof. Trying to look normal for the weekend. Brought the living van and Bowser to complete the look.

Although Blackbeard was not in steam I had many people complimenting me on the appearance so far and some surprised that it is a kit. Some people I spoke to were also genuinely interests in pursuing an STW kit and were keen to get my opinion which was nothing but praise despite my luck with the cylinder.

Here are a couple of pictures including some that were taken after lots of polishing as the sun was low in the sky and I think Blackbeard looks superb if I do say so myself - plain but powerful according to some of the comments.

Good question Ian, the one in the pictures is the old one. I will ask for a timing update on the appropriate forum thread to see how things are going.
