Hello from a newbie
Hi all, I just wanted to say hello as I'm just about to start building an engine.
I took a trip up to Daventry from West Sussex today to pick up a number of kits for the 4" Agricultural, Dean and co made me feel very welcome and it was great to get a tour of the factory and stores.
No doubt I'll be posting many questions as the build goes on so please don't be too hard on me.

Welcome aboard. You have made an excellent choice and you will not be disappointed.
Please feel very welcome and we all don't bite and remember a question is only silly if you know the answer.

Re: Hello from a newbie
Thanks for the welcome, I'm a stones throw from Gatwick airport.
I have completed a front wheel. I couldn't bring myself to chamfer two sets of spokes at once, I think I will tackle the second set next week during lunchtimes.
Are the building instructions available as a PDF so I can read them on the computer?

Re: Hello from a newbie
Tender assembled apart from the beading. I am very impressed with the fit of the bottom/back to the sides. I only needed to drill through one hole the rest lined up perfectly.
I have also started on a rear wheel, it has taken me all morning to clean up, chamfer and grit blast the components ready for the rims to be returned from blasting as they don't fit in my blasting cabinet.
