Hi
had a successful day putting the tender together - can't believe how well all the holes line up. These models are certainly well made. Fingers now a little sore after putting all rivet bolts in.
One thing that has occured to me is should I be priming the metal behind the tow brackets and tow straps? as am concerned will be a rust trap when gets wet.
Any help/ideas much appreciated. Thanks to all who replied to my last query.
Will try and get some photos of the build posted once I've worked out how to do it.
Regards,
Simon

My tender has all been painted with out any fittings so I just have a blue tank that needs lining out. All my fittings have been painted black and will be added last of all some thing that might be of use is to weld the tow hitch together makes building a lot easier I did the same for the fairleasds to the bolts are only for show on my engine.

I can share a like at min because I'm on my iPad but if you look up hudmut on photobucket you will see every bit of how I built my tender

Yes, I did mine the same as Stu, you certainly don't want to run the risk of a problem later.
