Kit weights
Hi there
Just for interest I have attached a list of the descriptions of all the kits compared with their original descriptions on the advertising brochure. It also includes all the weights as posted on the courier's paperwork.
.
Regards
Tom

Thanks Lynn.
Thanks for the list Tom, it will be interesting to see if there are any differences on the second batch of SWB's.

On my iPad I just copy and paste the URL code for the image and paste to the comments box and it works fine. I use flickr though for hosting the images. Can't help with the mac though sadly, mine runs windows which defeated the object but was what I am used to and what we use at work.
Re: "Beryl" 4.5" Foden SWB
Kit Two arrived yesterday. Kit One is almost ready for painting.
Still not managed to find a way yet to post pics from my Mac on here!

I send all my photos to photobucket.com and copy the URL's from there, works every time. Its quick and easy, and if you're registered with photobucket you can 'follow' people you know, and get notification as soon as they upload photos. Its also means you have a back-up copy of all your photos, should anything go wrong with your hard drive.

Re: "Beryl" 4.5" Foden SWB
i have fixed your code to the correct format. just copy and paste the img codes straight from photobucket. you don't need to use any of the boxes in the post box (they just seem to be and unnecessary and confusing feature of this forum)

Re: "Beryl" 4.5" Foden SWB
Happy new year John.
Can I ask are you using the weights on the packaging, or do you weigh the contents. I've been weighing our showmans kits and there are some variances with the package weights. On our case with the Showmans we are upto 420kg, which is anout 10kg mote than the total package weights. We will weigh each kit again once made up before final assembly.

Happy New Year Rob.
I have been using the weights as stated on the packaging, so I am probably a few kg out.
Not sure the wife will let me use the bathroom scales to weigh the kits!

After a busy week the chassis has now got two coats of undercoat. Hopefully start applying the topcoat this week.
