Bill Targett Memorial Steam Rally
Just a reminder to all on the central south coast that it’s the Bill Targett Memorial Steam Rally on 12th and 13th May. Held on Matterley Farm, A31 Alresford Road, Nr Winchester, Hants. Post code for the sat nav is SO21 1HW. If you are like me and use the good old fashioned OS map the Grid Ref is SU 53597 28947.

Just been told off for not also reminding you of the Spring Rally on Sunday May 6th at Twyford Water Works also near Winchester. Not a big event but normally worth a visit if you are in the local area. For those who dont know where it is the Address is Hazeley Road, Twyford, Hampshire SO21 1QA. Grid ref SU 49259 25008.

I will see you there, I am attending in an organ building capacity but might just bring the engine if I can be bothered to load it all up!!!!

I would agree, its worth making the trip for GDSF though. I'll miss it this year sadly, my brain was not thinking last year when I booked this years holiday.

I'll keep an eye out, not sure I'll be there on Saturday, but we will both be up for the day on Sunday.
Bill Target Rally
We will be taking our road loco, not sure if both days, but definately on the Saturday. If anyone would like to come, we are having a BBQ and road run to the local pub on Sunday 27 May. I live in a village between Salisbury and Romsey. Last year we had 16 minatures. Please pm me if you are interested. Of course it is weather permitting! Regards David Watts.
