FODEN PUMPS

The pump on my Foden seems to work well but is quite "clanky". I have viewed other models, not STW ones, and the pumps on them are silent. Anyone have any ideas?

Havent built mine yet but wuld be interested what the problem is, I assume you have the engine running on air when your getting the "clanking" noise.

The pump as i say works ok but is just noisy, i've had a look and the pump rod is fine and everything is tight. The engine is running on steam.
