2” Cylinder Block assembly

Hi all
Kit 11a cylinder block , fitting grub screws recommended using thread tape to seal has anyone used liquid P T F E or a similar sealing medium with any success

I have used liquid ptfe in the past on fittings and found it to be a better thread locker than a sealant.
The main problem is it is only rated for temperatures up to 150c.
The 2" engine running at 100psi has the steam temp at around 170c.
OK its only 20c over but is it worth the risk when the tape is so cheap and is rated up to 260c.

It did cross my mind that it might be a issue, tape it is
