Kit Update
Kit Update
Hi everyone
I have an update on Lyka for you. We have been working flat out behind the scenes to make up another kit for you guys to be cracking on with. This kit will contain several different components that will make your cars look more like cars, including the bodywork, which has now been completed apart from a couple of holes that need adding, we are also currently making the water pipework and manifolds allowing you to link the water tanks and connect the mechanical water pumps. We are making and testing the 70 lubricators (2 lubricators per car, each with several small and fiddly components). We have ordered and tested a pressure switch and are looking how we mount it in the cars. We are also producing the hand pump that will go on the back of the car as your secondary water feed for the boiler. Whilst the lads in the factory crack on with that, Dean is going all the way to Coventry to have a meeting with someone about getting the upholstery done for the front panel and the seat and backrest. We are aiming to get this kit out the door by the end of the month.
Many thanks

Boiler Rods
Hi everyone
Another change that has been made is boiler support rods. Some customers were are little concerned that the original rods we supplied would not be up to the job of holding the boiler down. So we have had a look and have made some much stronger support rods, which will also go out in the next kit. They have been designed in such a way that they will not affect any of your existing components, so all you will need to do is swap out the old rods for the new ones.
Many thanks
