Good evening all,

I have the Modelworks first batch kit I am about to start building and have a couple of questions if anyone can help.

1. Has anyone had the rear wheels vulcanised with the wheels all built up and how did the heat during this process effect the fillets around the T - rings?

2. Modelworks used a two pack metal filler by Loctite for forming the radius fillets on the T- rings for the rear wheels, is this still the best method and still being used for the STW kits?

Cheers
Mark

Hi Tef

Vulcanisation will kill the filler.

Hi Lynn

Thought that would be the case, thinking to build the wheel up using normal bolts get the vulcanising done and then strip it again to do the fillets and rivet nuts...

Not seen your engine about much up here this year?
