side panels
side panels
I read your blog on mounting the side panels from the inside which I did when first building the car, What was discovered over time was their were times that I had to access section of the cars inside parts, but the sides panel made it impossible, and to remove the panels meant that I had to take things apart, ex: to access the water tank area you can"t remove the panels because the water tanks are in the way so you have to remove the water tanks first. Also the throttle section is the same thing. I saw this as a problem for service. When i do any repairs the side panels come off and everything is accessible.
I'm in the process of build a super heater which means the boiler has to be removed from the car and so the panels will be removed.
