New an improved panels Empty New an improved panels

Just made a video of new and improved panels used on our cars. The panels are easier to remove for service. Maybe the new batch of cars will have this feature. It would be nice and it doesn't add much cost.

Really looking forward to seeing this all put back together! Love the idea of a 4 seater and also think the drive disengage is very handy!

The car is almost together and will be going to the Amish for the surrey top. If all goes well this will be some time next week. I will post photos and youtube.

New an improved panels Empty new panels

Post  jjtjr Fri 08 Apr 2016, 12:53 pm

The new panels are primed and mounted on the car. I'm going today to have the other seat upholstered. The weather was a problem when it came to painting the seat it need to be > then 60 degs. F.  The first seat is done and at the amish shop. The car will be going to the amish shop and the seats will be mounted as soon as the seat is done which is about 1 week, and the surrey top will be made and mounted. Then the car will be back home and the panels will be removed and painted. The amish shop did not wanted the car painted before the top was made and mounted for fear of damaging the paint.  I will be making a youtube video of the amish shop today and will post. Up dates will be coming more often now that the weather is improving.  At times it seems to be going slow. But the end is near.
