Chuttie - Problem with gear selector lever and locking pin
Been doing a bit more assembly on the gear selection levers and hit a slight snag once assembled the holes in the brass covers do not line up with the holes in the selector levers meaning that the locking pins cannot be fitted as can be seen in the image below the hole in the lever is just visible in the top of the brass clearance hole.
Existing lever
To get over the problem I have machined the hole with a slot drill in the mill the pin now fits through the brass fitting to lock the lever.
