new water tanks
I just made new water tanks from 304 stainless 14 Ga. the new tanks are larger and hold 11 to 12 gals each. The old tanks were rusting. The rust was causing the level sensors to not work correctly. The sensors are also space more evenly with the bottom most one about 3" from the bottom of the tank which gives you 3 gals. when it shows empty. All the fittings are tapped using a 3/8" pipe tap. This makes it easier here in the USA.
The tanks are tig welded most of them are just fused just used some filler rod in some locations, This was possible because the tanks were sheered which gives you very straight sides. I will post photos when complete.
