Royal Gun Powder Mills Rally
The Royal Gun Powder Mills rally last week-end was organised just for miniature traction engines. The rally was run by the railway group on site and they did us proud. They not only arranged a dispensation so that owners of dogs were allowed to bring them with them and they also supplied us all with Andy Holmes coal. On top of this the weather was dry and it even got sunny on the Sunday afternoon. The programme listed 37 miniature traction engines and I think that about 9 of these were STW engines including a new showmans engine. A good start to a new steam rally season.

Very green with envy. You southerners have so many rallies and events.

Good to see Colin's new engine in steam! Glad the rally was a success: unfortunately I couldn't get to it.

Not to mention half decent weather most of the time.
Looks like a very good do and one I shall add to the calendar for next year.
