4.5" Foden LWB Just started in Cheltenham
Hi Guys,
Just thought I would come and say hello to everyone. Me (Andy) and a friend (Andy no.2!) have just taken delivery of kit no.1 for our 4 1/5" Foden Long wheel base. Very exciting stuff!
Is anyone near or in the cheltenham area building a STW kit?
Looking forward to using the forum more in the future.

Hi Andys,
Good luck with the build I’m sure you'll enjoy it as I have, I just got my 4.5" Foden SWB up and running and can thoroughly recommend it.
I just have the last bit of bodywork and the aux water tank to fit and that will be finished (well if you ever really finish a steam engine)
The bit that was most satisfying was when it finally came to life first running on air then when you light a fire in it
Then just in case I get bored
I will be starting a 6" Foden "C" type the other side of Christmas
was very generous this year.
