fitting cylinder to boiler
Hi All,
In the written instructions on fitting the cylinder to the boiler it says you need to pre position two studs onto the cylinder before its placed on the boiler and to temporarily hold them in place with an m8 nut.
It doesnt say where to position them or why, I cant see why I cant screw in the first two studs as indicated on the drawing then drop the cylinder down onto to them, tighten them, then proceed to fit the rest of the studs in stated order.
Am I missing something here?
Thanks
Kev

Re: fitting cylinder to boiler
No you're not missing anything, thats how I did it and I couldn't understand what the studs in the base meant. Just put the first two in the centre of the boiler and then go round. You will find that that you will need to tighten the nuts from the top as you go round to squash the gasket to get the lower ones in. It's a bit of a struggle but not too bad.

Glad it wasnt just me that had trouble understanding that bit.
Thanks
