Just wondering how everyone else is painting their engines?

Not necessarily the main colour but what about chassis etc.

I'm going for black chassis, springs, bolier saddle etc. Then my body colour on the front and rear axle with red wheels. Red then features in the lining as well.

I was torn as to whether to have the chassis red along with the axle's but think this should be a little different but still in keeping with how some engines were done originally.

What are everyone else's plans?

Counting down till I get my kits now, a week on wednesday all being well. Just when I come back from holiday Very Happy

Black with yellow lining for the underframe and wheels. Not quite decided about the upperworks, but just to be different I painted the cranks yellow rather than red.

A yellow crank will show up blood terribly.

I started off with a black chassis, yellow wheels just to be different but then changed my mind and have gone for crimson sc for all the underside including wheels still not sure on body colour, alot of rubbing down and re painting to change colour but it just looks so right now, worth the effort.Colours are a tricky one.
