Water tank size
After some though I started to make a front tank. The tank is 9"O.D. in diameter
and will be from 30" to 32" long and will be mounted in front of the front leaf
spring.Below the dash panel. The tank will have a capacity of 8.33 gals. The car
will have a total water capacity of 12 gals + 8.33gals = to 20.33 gals. This
number is more inline with the original Locomobile. The tank is made from rolled
copper sheet because it is hard to find 8" copper pipe. At this time the copper
cylinder is made and the end caps will be made by spinning of the copper to form
a concave disc. The tank will be silver solder together. The tank will have a
filler on top with a pickup tube on bottom. The tank will be plumbed with a shut
off valve and check valve to prevent any cross flow from the other tanks. All
three tanks will feed the boiler pump.It would be nice to made the tanks from
brass but that is even harder to find, The copper will look good when its
polished.

water tank
Tank was built using copper sheet. The end caps were press from the same copper sheet. The tank holds 8.2 gals of water. It is plumbed to the main tanks and could be shut off from them.

Your Canopy!
Many thanks for your quick reply! Yes, I am interested in it, but of course depends on cost and also shipping costs!. I think you are in the US so it shouldn't be too bad for shipping. I am in Northern France - so not too far away!
